How much data will I use and how much will it cost?

The camera uses approximately 25 Megabytes (MB) per day in standby mode.
It typically uses 3-5 MB per minute when streaming high quality video. This varies depending on lighting, movement and internet speed etc.

We recommend you purchase data add-ons from your network provider as the cost is much less than standard pay-as-you-go rates. Typically a €20 monthly data bundle is enough.

Once your calving season is over you can stop paying for data bundles. Simply replace the sim card the following year.
There are 1000 Megabytes (MB) in a 1 Gigabyte (GB) so for most users the smallest data plan is sufficient.

What kind of phone do I need?

You will need a smart phone such as a Samsung Galaxy or Apple iPhone.

You will be able to view the camera with your smartphones data plan or when its connected to WiFi.

While any number of people can have access. Only 3-4 people can view at feed at any one time. This is variable due the upload speed of your internet connection.

I have a shed that is fully sheeted and the signal is poor inside?

You can buy 3m external antenna with the camera and place the 4G antenna outside the shed. This solution will work in most cases provided the upload speed requirement is met.
